Battle Lines - 2001 schedule

Battle Lines, ESPN Classic's documentary series, is a comprehensive look at the classic games and moments in sports history. If you love great sports moments, then ESPN Classic is the place to be on Sunday nights. Here is our 2001 schedule:

"1971 Nebraska-Oklahoma, 30th Anniversary"
Nov. 25

Regularly regarded as college football's "Game of the Century," Nebraska flanker Johnny Rodgers, who would win the Heisman Trophy the following season, opens the scoring with an electrifying 72-yard punt return four minutes into the game. The game goes back and forth, and finally Jerry Tagge leads the Cornhuskers on a game winning drive capped off by Jeff Kinney's two-yard plunge with 1:38 remaining to give Nebraska a 35-31 win.

"1992 NCAA East Regional Final: Duke-Kentucky (re-air)"
Dec. 16

As time expires, Grant Hill's full court pass and Christian Laettner's turn around jumper from the foul line give Duke a thrilling 104-103 overtime victory, sending them to the Final Four.
