Nov. 20, 1993: Bad enough that No. 1 Notre Dame came back from a 38-17 fourth-quarter deficit to lead 39-38 with 1:09 to play. Bad enough that quarterback Glenn Foley drove No. 17 Boston College down the field. Bad enough that Dave Gordon knuckleballed a 41-yard field goal over the crossbar on the game's last play to win. One week after Notre Dame beat then-No. 1 Florida State, the Seminoles returned atop the polls and stayed there. Irish fans still believe that title belonged to them.
