All Or None
Jan. 1, 1994: Bobby Bowden was in his 18th season at Florida State; Tom Osborne was in his 21st at Nebraska. Neither had won a national title. In the 1994 Orange Bowl, the No. 1 Seminoles took an 18-16 lead on Scott Bentley's field goal with 21 seconds to play. The Cornhuskers started their final drive at their 43-yard line. With time winding down, Tommie Frazier completed a 29-yard pass to the FSU 28. Officials put one second back on the clock, but the Cornhuskers missed a 45-yard field goal on the final play.
