Nov. 8, 1997: Missouri hadn't beaten Nebraska since 1978, but the Tigers were beating the country's No. 1-ranked team 38-31 in the final seconds. On third-and-10, Nebraska QB Scott Frost fired a pass into the end zone. The ball bounced off Shevin Wiggins' chest, but he kicked the ball into the air before it hit the ground. Receiver Matt Davison made a diving catch for a tying score, and the Cornhuskers won 45-38 in overtime. Nebraska fans say Wiggins' kick was inadvertent; Missouri fans still say it was intentional.
