Choke At Doak
Nov. 26, 1994: Florida had a 31-3 lead entering the fourth quarter at Florida State's Doak Campbell Stadium. But the Seminoles mounted one of the sport's most improbable comebacks. After two TDs made it 31-17, QB Danny Kanell scored on a 2-yard keeper to cut Florida's lead to 31-24. Then the Noles intercepted Danny Wuerffel's pass. Rock Preston scored on a 4-yard run with 1:45 left, and FSU coach Bobby Bowden elected to kick the extra point for a 31-31 tie. The outcome is still remembered as the "Choke at Doak."
