Center Holmes named to watch list
USC center Khaled Holmes was named to the 2012 Rimington Award watch list on Thursday, putting him in contention for a trophy given annually to the nation's top center. The award is named after former Nebraska center Dave Rimington and is presented by the Boomer Esiason Foundation, fundraising for a cure for cystic fibrosis.
