Syracuse starting quarterback Terrel Hunt was ejected from the Orange's 27-26 double-overtime win against Villanova on Friday night for throwing a punch.

Hunt was being tackled to the ground following a run late in the second quarter when linebacker Dillon Lucas made contact with his helmet. Before getting up, Hunt punched Lucas on the face mask.

Penalty flags immediately flew, and Hunt was automatically ejected.

Redshirt freshman Austin Wilson replaced Hunt, going 11-of-17 for 89 yards.

Hunt finished the game 10-of-17 for 94 yards, with 25 yards rushing on three carries.
