Nebraska standout defensive tackle Jared Crick will return to the lineup for the No. 8 Cornhuskers this week against the No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers.

Crick, who sat out Saturday's win at Wyoming, will return to practice Monday afternoon, coach Bo Pelini said.

Crick suffered an apparent head injury at the end of a Sept. 17 game against Washington and didn't practice last week.

Pelini reiterated Monday that Crick got "dinged up" and didn't call the injury a concussion.

A second-team All-American in 2010, Crick has recorded 14 tackles, including three tackles for loss and a sack, in three games this season.
