Bob Stoops said after practice Monday night that Mike is bringing his family to Norman on Thursday night and will stick around to watch the third-ranked Sooners (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) play this weekend.
Stoops says his brother isn't allowed to work with Oklahoma's team because of the NCAA's limit on coaches, and he doesn't even think he'll get any advice from Mike because "I know my team better than he knows my team."
Mike Stoops was Bob's defensive coordinator at Oklahoma before becoming Arizona's head coach. He was fired last week.
Stoops says the Sooners have been "managing all right ourselves." They're undefeated heading into Saturday night's game against Texas Tech (4-2, 1-2).
