Aggies RB Cyrus Gray 'day-to-day'
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M running back Cyrus Gray has a stress fracture in one of his shoulders and is listed as day to day heading into Thursday's game against rival Texas.
Gray was injured in the first half of Texas A&M's 61-7 win over Kanas on Saturday. Coach Mike Sherman says Gray is wearing a sling, but might be able to play even if he doesn't practice this week.
Gray has 1,045 yards rushing, his second consecutive 1,000-yard season.
The Aggies already are without Christine Michael, who ran for 899 yards before suffering a season-ending knee injury on Nov. 5. If Gray can't play, the Aggies will have to rely on sophomore Ben Malena and freshman Will Randolph, who made his collegiate debut on Saturday.
