Mike Caputo cited on suspicion of DUI
Nebraska senior starting center Mike Caputo was cited on suspicion of DUI after police allegedly found him passed out in a running car early Sunday morning, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.
Caputo was found slumped over the driver's seat of a car a little after 1 a.m. local time Sunday, according to reports. Police said Caputo's blood-alchol content was .103. The legal limit to drive in Nebraska is .08.
Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said he was aware of the situation but was waiting for more information before commenting further on the matter.
The Huskers are set to play South Carolina in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 2. Sophomore Cole Pensick is listed as Caputo's backup.
