Hollis said Michigan State will visit Autzen Stadium on Sept. 13, 2014 and will host the Ducks on Sept. 12, 2015. Hollis said the series will replace a home-and-home deal with West Virginia, which asked out of the contract because of its transition to the Big 12.
The Spartans had been scheduled to play the Mountaineers on Sept. 13, 2014.
"We look forward to adding Oregon to our future football schedule," Hollis said in a statement. "The series provides MSU alums on the West Coast with an opportunity to see the Spartans compete against one of the nation's outstanding football programs. The relationship between the Big Ten and Pac-12 is built on common values and the Rose Bowl. We also look forward to bringing the Ducks back to Spartan Stadium, as we continue to compete for championships and national exposure."
The Ducks and Spartans have played four times in their history, with Michigan State winning the last meeting 27-20 in East Lansing in 1999.
Michigan State and Oregon will begin a home-and-home series in football in 2014, Spartans athletic director Mark Hollis announced Tuesday on Twitter.
