DETROIT -- This year's Little Caesars Pizza Bowl has been set for Dec. 26, and the title sponsor has agreed to stay on for at least two more seasons.
The bowl announced Monday that Little Caesars Pizza would remain the sponsor through the 2013 bowl.
The bowl has ties with the Mid-American Conference and the Big Ten. Purdue beat Western Michigan 37-32 last year.
This season's game will mark the 11th straight season the bowl will be held at Detroit's Ford Field. It was previously played at the Pontiac Silverdome.
