GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- DePauw has fired football coach Robby Long and promoted Scott Srnka from defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach to interim coach.
DePauw was routed 52-14 by Wittenberg on Saturday to fall to 0-2. The Tigers lost their opener 31-10 to St. Olaf.
In a statement released Sunday, athletic director Stevie Baker-Watson said the decision was made because of Long's failure to "fully comply" with school policies and administrative expectations.
Baker-Watson says the school will conduct a national search for a permanent replacement.
DePauw is a Division III school located about 50 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
