Report: LSU LB has broken ankle

LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken ankle in the third quarter of the Tigers' 14-6 loss at Florida on Saturday, The (New Orleans) Times-Picayune reported Sunday.
The freshman had two tackles and recovered a fumble in the second quarter of LSU's first loss of the season.
Following Saturday's loss, LSU (5-1, 1-1 SEC) dropped to No. 9 in The Associated Press college football poll. The Tigers return home to host No. 3 South Carolina on Saturday.
