Stacy McGee back from suspension
NORMAN, Okla. -- Stacy McGee, one of No. 8 Oklahoma's key defensive linemen, will be back on the field Saturday for the Sooners' showdown with fifth-ranked Notre Dame.
Bob Stoops said Monday he has reinstated the senior defensive tackle, who had been serving a suspension since the preseason for a violation of university rules.

McGee started three games in 2011 and was a key part of Oklahoma's defensive line rotation in 2010. He had been working with the scout-team defense in practice this season but will rejoin the first-team unit this week.
"You play the same technique on scout team as you do on the (first-team) defense," Stoops said. "He's been going against the better offensive line the last six weeks."
With McGee suspended and Oklahoma's other projected starting tackle, Casey Walker, sitting out the first two games with a personal issue, the Sooners were forced to shuffle around their defensive line. They even moved defensive end David King to tackle alongside Jamarkus McFarland as a stopgap.
But with Walker back in the fold the past three games, the first-team defense has allowed just one touchdown total. Stoops said the defensive line is a big reason why.
"They are playing great. Just great," Stoops said. "Those guys are all good football players and they all have experience."
