Kenny Bell (leg) out 5-6 weeks
The junior was the team's most effective deep threat in the passing game, leading all receivers in yards per catch.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound speedster from Louisiana will miss the SEC championship game against Georgia on Dec. 1 and likely the bowl game Alabama ends up playing.
Bell is second on the team in receiving yards (431), sixth in receptions (17) and tied for third with three receiving touchdowns.
"He's a playmaker for us, but we're going to have some younger guys step up and make plays," quarterback AJ McCarron said. "We've had guys go down all year long, so it's not going to be anything new. We're just going to get somebody to step up and make plays in his position."
Bell's injury was further damage to an already depleted receiving corps.
Freshman Amari Cooper took up where White left off, but there's not much experience behind him. Freshmen Marvin Shinn and Cyrus Jones are the most likely candidates to fill the void left behind by Bell. The rookies have a combined eight catches between them.
