Wake Forest's Michael Campanaro, one of the best receivers in the ACC and the Demon Deacons' top offensive playmaker, broke his collarbone on Saturday in a 13-0 loss at Syracuse and will miss four to six weeks, according to a school spokesman.

With that projected timetable, Campanaro could miss the rest of the regular season. Wake Forest has games remaining against No. 3 Florida State, Duke and Vanderbilt. The Deacs have a bye on Nov. 16.

Campanaro, who entered the game third all time in the ACC with 227 catches, had two catches for 11 yards before leaving the game in the first quarter.

Earlier this season in a win against Maryland, Campanaro became the program's all-time leading receiver. He now has had 30 straight games with at least one reception.

Campanaro entered Saturday's matchup at Syracuse averaging 113.1 yards per game.
