Big 12 announces 2014 schedule
IRVING, Texas -- With the Big 12 heading into a final five-week stretch to determine its 2013 champion, the league on Tuesday released its 2014 conference football schedule.
The first conference game for the Big 12 next season will be the first of four scheduled Thursday night games, when Texas Tech plays at Oklahoma State on Sept. 25. Texas is again playing at home on Thanksgiving night, this time against TCU for the second time in three years.
It will be the fourth year in a row the 10-team league plays nine-game, round-robin schedule.
Baylor and Texas meeting in a regular-season finale on Dec. 7 this year. Next season, they will play Oct. 4, a week before the Longhorns play their Red River Rivalry game against Oklahoma at the State Fair of Texas.
