Will Sean Davis be picked on Day 2?

Our Mel Kiper Jr. doesn't think Davis is the best safety in coverage, but he knows Davis brings the wood when you cross the middle of the field on him. Best-case scenario for Davis is a third round pick. Kiper's favorite players (Insider)

Five teams with spring recruiting momentum

After a trip to the College Football Playoff, Oklahoma's recruiting is gainingsteam. But Bob Stoops and the Sooners aren't the only ones trending up.

Adam Rittenberg ESPN Staff Writer

Maryland's Walt Bell wants to be the fastest-operating offense in the Big Ten. The pace has sped up this spring, even as new quarterbacks learn the system. "They'll never learn to play fast if they have not had to communicate and process quickly," said Bell, the Terrapins' offensive coordinator. "You can always go backwards, you can always slow down. But you can't start slow and then expect them to play at a high rate quickly. It's not being in shape, not anything to do with physical constraints. It has to do with their ability to process and communicate quickly and execute at a really high rate for three hours on a Saturday with people watching."
