Dave Clawson said after arriving at Wake Forest in 2014 that a major priority was developing a stronger team. Wake has been unable to physically match up with ACC opponents and it's cost them during back-to-back 1-7 conference seasons, but Clawson said he saw a change after the first spring scrimmage. "The biggest positive of the scrimmage was we're clearly a more physical football team. I just think we look bigger, we look stronger, we're more physical."
