Georgia Tech uses run game to sting Alcorn State (1:32)

No mercy from these Yellow Jackets

No. 16 Georgia Tech has taken the air out of the ball, and perhaps that's the problem for Alcorn State. Marcus Marshall's 2nd TD of the night came on a run right up the middle to give GT a 62-6 lead.

Georgia Tech takes 41-0 lead

After Patrick Skov's second rushing TD of the day, Georgia Tech has scored five times on the ground and leads FCS Alcorn State 41-0. If neither team scored the rest of the way, the game would be a push; Georgia Tech was favored by exactly 41.

Georgia Tech puts up 34 in the 1st quarter

No, this is not a repeat. Georgia Tech has scored ANOTHER touchdown. This time it's Marcus Marshall with a 49-yard run, and the Yellow Jackets lead 34-0 in the first quarter. They still have a long way to go to match their 222-0 win over Cumberland in 1916, the most lopsided game in college football history.

Rout is on in Atlanta

Georgia Tech was 41-point favorites tonight. The Yellow Jackets are already almost halfway there. This Broderick Snoddy TD run was overturned on review, but Isiah Willis punched it in from the 1-yard line to give Georgia Tech a 20-0 lead.

Georgia Tech pouring it on early

Georgia Tech has yet to throw the ball today. The Yellow Jackets may not have to. Patrick Skov's 3-yard TD run gave No. 16 Georgia Tech a 13-0 lead midway through the first quarter. They were 41-point favorites over Alcorn State.

Milton sneaks in for the pick

Chris Milton had two interceptions last season and he's already halfway to that total in 2015. Georgia Tech leads 7-0 and is already within striking distance of another score.

Georgia Tech works ground game

Justin Thomas capped off a 5-play, 63-yard drive -- with all 63 yards coming on the ground -- with this 13-yard TD run, giving No. 16 Georgia Tech a 7-0 lead over Alcorn State on ESPN3.

Searcy shows off some moves

Qua Searcy showed how Georgia Tech's triple-option offense is supposed to work with this 29-yard run, putting the Yellow Jackets into the red zone.

No. 16 Georgia Tech opens vs. Alcorn St.
