Hearing former Hawaii coach June Jones is in lead to reclaim the job. Tulsa co-defensive coordinator Brian Norwood and Nevada offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich are also in the mix as Hawaii narrows its candidate pool. Both Rolovich and Norwood played at Hawaii, and Rolovich was an assistant there from 2008-11.


Navy marches to 9-1 with win vs. Tulsa

Keenan Reynolds threw for one TD and ran for another in No. 16 Navy's 44-21 victory over Tulsa.


Navy rolls past Tulsa

Quarterback Keenan Reynolds ran for 81 yards and a touchdown while directing a Navy offense that rolled up 512 yards on the ground and the Midshipmen beat Tulsa 44-21 on Saturday night.

Navy QB Keenan Reynolds broke a tie with former Wisconsin RB Montee Ball for the most career rushing TDs in FBS history last week. Reynolds had four rushing scores in the game and is now three shy of tying the all-time Division-I record (FBS & FCS). Follow live

Bearcats beat Golden Hurricane

Thanks in large part to Mike Boone's 137 yards and three touchdowns rushing, Cincinnati was able to defeat Tulsa 49-38. Don't forget about the 386 yards and two touchdowns through the air from Gunner Kiel, though. Box score


Tulsa's fumble proves costly

It took three plays for Cincinnati to make Tulsa pay after the Golden Hurricane fumbled near midfield. This Gunner Kiel connection with Mekale McKay makes the score 35-24 late in the third quarter.


Kiel answers back

After Tulsa capitalized on a Gunner Kiel fumble with a field goal, Cincinnati responded. Kiel finds Chris Moore for a 43-yard TD to give the Bearcats a 28-24 lead.


Kiel drops the ball

Gunner Kiel drops back looking to throw; but it would probably help if he had the ball. Kiel is stripped by Tulsa's Derrick Alexander and the Golden Hurricane have the ball near the red zone.


Golden Hurricane goes on long drive

Tulsa goes almost the entire length of the field to tie the game at 21 with Cincinnati. The 10 play, 95-yard drive was capped off when Ramadi Warren scampered for a 39-yard score.

Gunner Kiel gassing up the Bearcats

The Cincinnati QB has 201 yards at halftime as the Bearcats lead 21-14. While Kiel leads the game through the air, Tulsa's Ramadi Warren leads all rushers with 88 yards on the ground. Box score


Tulsa ties it up

The Golden Hurricane needed only one yard on fourth down, and they got 65 instead thanks to Ramadi Warren, whose touchdown evens the score at seven midway through the second quarter.


Kiel drops one in the bucket

As the first quarter came to a close, Gunner Kiel was putting a cap on a 10-play, 80-yard Cincinnati drive. The Bearcats now lead 14-7 at the end of the first.


Bearcats bite back

The Bearcats tie the game with this explosive 12-yard TD run from Mike Boone. The score is 7-7 late in the first quarter.
