New UCF coach Scott Frost got a five-year deal with a base salary of $1.7 million annually, with incentive bonuses up to $250,000 per year when he hits certain performance goals. The salary pool for assistants is $2.3 million.

When asked whether he will coach for Oregon in the bowl game, new UCF coach Scott Frost said, "This is my priority." He will make a final decision in the next few days after talking to Oregon coach Mark Helfrich.

New UCF coach Scott Frost will bring the fast-paced Oregon offense with him to Orlando. Over the last few years, he had opportunities to leave the Ducks but decided to head to UCF because, "This place has a lot of potential. ... I knew this place was special from afar. Now that I've been here it can be more special than I thought."

UCF officially introduced Scott Frost as its new coach on Wednesday. Frost, who takes over a program that went 0-12, stood out immediately during the UCF search. Athletic director Danny White said president John Hitt turned to him after the interview and said, "Danny, you found your guy."
