Clemson starting defensive tackle D.J. Reader is taking a leave of absence from the team for personal reasons, the school announced. Dabo Swinney does expect him to return at some point, but his departure is a big blow for a group that already had to replace all four starters on the line. Reader was slated to take Grady Jarrett's spot. Now, sophomore Scott Pagano and freshman Christian Wilkins will contend for the starting job.
