There are nearly 400 campers registered for the PrimeTime Polynesian Kumite camp today in Norco, Calif. During the camp's opening remarks, they were told over 60 college coaches were on hand from all parts of the country and it was stressed this is an opportunity for them to get on the recruiting radar or improve their stock. Here are some of the most notable schools that were expected to have coaches and/or staff members in attendance: Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Colorado, Fresno State, Hawaii, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, Notre Dame, Oregon State, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, UNLV, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington, Washington State

Nevada head coach Brian Polian, who has coached at almost every level of college football, was outspoken when NCAA first banned satellite camps, but says today's ruling to bring them back is a victory for recruits. "I understand the desire for change, but until we can implement a comprehensive plan that addresses the needs of the (prospective-student athletes), the Group of 5, and the Power 5, leaving the camps intact is the right thing to do," Polian said. "The biggest winners today are the student-athletes that will be able to gain valuable exposure at low cost by attending these camps."

Former Penn State RB Akeel Lynch has signed on with Nevada as a graduate transfer, Nevada announced Wednesday morning. Lynch's role in the PSU offense greatly diminished with the rise of Saquon Barkley and might've become virtually nonexistent in 2016 with Andre Robinson coming off a redshirt and Miles Sanders signing his NLI. Good move by both Lynch and Nevada.
