Buy/sell: Oregon has the most to prove

The Ducks have been very good under Mark Helfrich, but the bar is set very high in Eugene and 2016 could be a pivotal season.

Will Ducks stay down?

Grading the recruiting classes: Pac-12

Grading the 2016 recruiting classes in the Pac-12, which include banner classes from the Los Angeles schools and another quality effort by Stanford.

Chantel Jennings ESPN Staff Writer

Oregon sits at No. 27 in the recruiting rankings. Not the greatest class in the Pac-12 but it goes a long way in filling depth at quarterback and linebacker. The Ducks took three QBs and seven different players that could develop into linebackers.

Mark Helfrich was asked about recruiting antics (cough, cough tree climbing and sleepovers) and he said that there's "just not a lot of reality" in some of that stuff. Oregon, he said, recruits the way they coach. Hey, who knows -- maybe Harbaugh has his players climb trees and play shirtless Bama ball in practice?

Here in Eugene for Mark Helfrich's signing day press conference. He signed 19 players, all of whom were captains. Big surprise here -- he likes everyone, thinks everyone has great potential.

Bucs could land a playmaker at DE

Todd McShay has Tampa Bay selecting 6-foot-7, 285-pound DeForest Buckner with the No. 9 overall pick. He may not be a traditional edge-rusher, but he could be a difference maker on the D-line for the Bucs. Mock Draft 2.0 (Insider)
