Memphis finds a new way to score

With Paxton Lynch done for the day after 7 TD passes, the Tigers turned to their defense for a score, as Jackson Dillon's fumble return put Memphis up 63-0 over SMU on ESPNews.


SMU RB takes out cameraman

Xavier Jones got stretched out wide, where he ran right into the Memphis defense -- and a cameraman on the sidelines.


Paxton Lynch spreads the wealth

The Memphis QB has thrown seven TD passes in the first half to seven different receivers. This one to Mose Frazier gave the Tigers a 56-0 lead over SMU with 2:23 left in the half on ESPNews.


Not 1, not 2, not 3 ... 6 TDs IN THE HALF!

Paxton Lynch is about as on fire as a quarterback can possibly be, tossing his school-record 6th TD pass to give Memphis a 49-0 lead over SMU with 7:49 left in the first half.


Rout is on for Memphis vs. SMU

Not even 5 minutes into the second quarter, the Tigers have a 42-0 lead, thanks to 5 TD passes from Paxton Lynch, who's thrown only 10 total passes on the day.


Slumping Memphis off to good start

After being held without a TD last week, Paxton Lynch reached the end zone on his first pass today for Memphis, which is trying to snap a 3-game losing streak, facing SMU on ESPNEWS.

SMU scores on 70-yard blocked FG

SMU is on the board first with this blocked FG that was returned 70 yards by RC Cox for a 70-yard TD. SMU leads 7-0 on ESPNEWS.

All too familiar for Mustangs

Here's the good news: After two consecutive weeks against AP Top 25 foes, the Mustangs don't have to face another one this week. They host Tulane. Here's the bad news: They end the season with a trip to Memphis. Bottom 10
