CB Kalan Reed of the Titans, the final pick in the draft, lived in Nashville for three years as a little kid. From age 3 to 6, he estimates. It's where he started playing sports. As a member of the Flatrock Vols football team, he thinks he played against Jalen Ramsey and he knows he played at halftime of a Titans game at what is now Nissan Stadium.
Highlights: Kalan Reed
With the Mr. Irrelevant pick, the Titans nabbed another cornerback, taking the Southern Miss product. Check out some of Reed's best highlights.
Reed could be the corner NFL teams want
Kalan Reed showed great athleticism at his pro day with a sub-4.4 40 time. He also has strong ball skills that allowed him to get his hands on more than 20 percent of his targeted passes, one of the best rates in the class. PFF's most underrated prospects (Insider)
Kalan Reed deserves more draft love
The top of the draft has plenty of cornerback options -- but Reed is a mid-round sleeper. He played a lot of off coverage for Southern Miss, so in the right scheme, he could fit in as a playmaker in zone coverage. Most underrated NFL draft prospects (Insider)
Jamie Collins lit up the 2013 combine
The Southern Miss product showed off his freaky athleticism by posting a then-record 139-inch broad jump. Collins' ability has certainly translated to the field in New England. 32 combine stars
Non-Power 5 schools are doing work
Who says you have to be a Power 5 school to get some hotshots? Now being considered as recruiting's biggest upset, 5-star DT Ed Oliver made it official and signed with Houston. Meanwhile, Southern Miss isn't doing too shabby with its class either.
Jay Hopson was an assistant coach on some good Southern Miss football teams during the 2000s. Now he is returning to try to duplicate that success as the program's leader.
Jay Hopson is leaving Alcorn State to take the head-coaching job at Southern Mississippi.
Danny Kanell and Tom Luginbill join CFB Live to discuss the final week before signing day and the rise of Vernon Adams Jr.. Plus, Phyllis from Mulga embraces Finebaum listeners.

Former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr, Oregon AD Rob Mullens, ex-Southern Miss coach Jeff Bower and former Central Michigan coach Herb Deromedi will help select the CFP participants.
Thompson tries his hardest
Southern Mississippi WR DJ Thompson lays out for a catch against Washington DB Budda Baker. With only three catches during the entire game, Thompson certainly made one of them count. Best bowl pictures
Huskies' Gaskin runs wild in Dallas Bowl
Myles Gaskin rushed for four TDs in Washington's 44-31 Heart of Dallas Bowl win over Southern Mississippi -- but none were as impressive as his 86-yard game-winning scamper.
Washington defeated Southern Miss 44-31 in the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl on Saturday and many of the top players from the Huskies return.
