Washington St. QB Falk carted off after hard hit

Washington State sophomore quarterback Luke Falk was taken to a local hospital after suffering an apparent head injury during a sack in the third quarter against Colorado.

Washington State running back Gerard Wicks ran for 67 yards in the first half against Colorado. That's the most by a WSU player in coach Mike Leach's tenure (game No. 48). The Cougars have not had a 100-back under Leach. Will it change tonight? Game on ESPN2, WSU leads 14-0.

Coogs find the end zone again

Washington State QB Luke Falk threw a quick screen to Dom Williams and he did the rest. Williams scored from 11 yards out to extend the Cougars lead 14-0 in the second quarter.


Cougars roll the dice and it pays off

On fourth down, Washington State QB Luke Falk finds Dom Williams streaking down the sideline for a 29-yard catch to the Colorado 9-yard line. The Coogs would get on the board a few plays later with a 1-yard Keith Harrington TD run. Colorado trails 7-0 late in the first quarter.
