The plot thickens in Lafayette
The Ragin' Cajuns aren't dead yet. A fourth down TD makes it a one-score game as the Trojans lead 24-17. Elijah McGuire's 7-yard score is his second of the day.
Silvers bells ringing for Troy

Silvers shines again
Fourth down is not the time for field goals, according to Troy. Instead of taking the three points, the Trojans gamble and it pays off. Brandon Silvers connects with Teddy Ruben on this 15-yard score and Troy leads 14-0.
Lafayette loses the ball
The holidays are about giving, right? In this case, the Ragin' Cajuns would have rather had returner Gary Haynes not be in such a giving mood. This muffed punt set Troy up in incredible field positioning.
Burks outworks opponents on TD play
A 23-yard TD by Brandon Burks opens scoring. Troy takes a 7-0 lead over Louisiana-Lafayette thanks to the WR's tightrope acrobatics.
