Wofford edges Mercer in overtime 34-33

Evan Jack scored in overtime, and David Marvin's extra point provided the difference to lift Wofford to a 34-33 win over Mercer in a Southern Conference opener for both teams Saturday night.


Wofford breezes by Tennessee Tech, 34-14

Hunter Windham had a 25-yard touchdown reception and David Marvin hit both of his field goal attempts to help lead Wofford to comfortable 34-14 victory over Tennessee Tech on Saturday.

Final from Clemson: Tigers 49, Wofford 10. Deshaun Watson looked sharp in his return from an ACL injury, completing 18-of-22 for 194 yards and 2 TDs in limited action (exited after 1st drive of 3rd quarter).

Tyshon Dye's 1-yard TD gave the No. 12 Tigers a 28-0 lead over Wofford.


Wofford forces Clemson fumble

Wofford's Lincoln Stewart came off the edge and knocked the ball away from Clemson QB Nick Schuessler, bringing an end to the Tigers' drive.

Clemson's Mike Williams held on to a Deshaun Watson pass for first TD of the year, but he hit the goal post in the process and was carted off the field. He waved to the crowd as he left. No official update from Clemson yet.
