Hunter Wells lofted a pass deep over the Pitt defense and Andre Stubbs took it 77 yards for a TD, cutting Youngstown State's deficit to a touchdown.


Ollison runs for 71-yard TD

James Conner isn't the only Pitt running back with skills. Qadree Ollison hit the hole and went 71 yards untouched to extend the Panthers' lead.


Pittsburgh takes it to the house

Avonte Maddox bumped into his own player before picking up the botched kickoff and returning it 89 yards for a touchdown. Pittsburgh held on to beat Youngstown State 45-37.


Conner looking to match 2014

Pitt's James Conner ran for four touchdowns in last season's opener. He has two in the first quarter today after this 4-yard run.


Conner rips off big run

James Conner, who rushed for more than 1,700 yards last year, got off to a good start in 2015, ripping off this 40-yard run, which led to a TD one play later.
