Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher was adamant about the need for coaching staffs to hire full-time mentors to assist players on a daily basis. "These kids are scrutinized more than they ever have been in their entire life," Fisher said at a jobs summit in Orlando. "I couldn't play in today's world. Kids can't make a mistake. As soon as they do, we want to throw them away. Why not have guys working with your team every day to present the things they had success with? A coach can say it, but someone who grew up in their shoes ... why not invest in putting those guys on your staff?"
