McShay scouting report: Leonard Floyd

Get to know the newest Bear, No. 9 overall pick Leonard Floyd. Todd McShay breaks down the former Georgia linebacker, whom Chicago traded up to select.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Bears trade up to land some speed with Leonard Floyd. Very high ceiling as a pass rusher for Vic Fangio's defense. 4.6 guy. Athletic. Could make an impact as a situational edge rusher during his rookie season. Bears filled a need here. Get faster on defense.

Who will be the top LB selected?

Leonard Floyd and Myles Jack are battling it out for that distinction, and both could land in the top 10. Floyd brings some pop in the pass rush, while Jack has better coverage skills but is coming off a knee injury.

McKenzie's quickness makes him good

Isaiah McKenzie is small, but he makes up for it by flying in the open field. He makes a strong case for Georgia's coaching staff to bend over backwards and get him the ball any way they can. Fastest players on top-25 teams
