Who CFB coaches want their kids to play for

We asked SEC and Big 12 coaches which colleagues they would send their sons to play for. The list starts with Bob Stoops, but Mark Dantonio and David Shaw weren't far behind.

Northwestern All-Big Ten LB Anthony Walker had season tickets to Miami games growing up and hoped to play for the U. He even was coached by Hurricanes super fan Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell in an all-star game. "After seeing Sean Spence and guys like that, Miami always was the favorite team, but I didn't get a Miami offer," Walker said. "You can only go to one college, so as long as I was able to get one offer, I was OK with it."

Pat Fitzgerald has raised some interesting points in regards to the Big Ten's 9-game conference schedule. He's concerned about the uneven number of home and away games for teams, and while he preferred 8 league games, he would rather play 10 than 9.
