Former Texas OL Jake Raulerson is heading to Arkansas and will be eligible to play this season as a grad transfer. Raulerson initially committed to transferring to UCLA before learning he was denied admission into their MBA program. The former ESPN 300 recruit started 5 games for Texas at center and right tackle back in 2014 and was a backup last season.

After being denied admission into his preferred graduate school programs at UCLA, former Texas offensive lineman Jake Raulerson is scrambling to find an alternative option to finish his final two years of eligibility. The two favorites, according to his father, Jay Raulerson, are North Carolina and SMU, both of which he has visited, but Arkansas is also in the mix. Raulerson departed for a visit to Arkansas Thursday.

Numerous Power 5 conference programs were represented at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp near Houston on Tuesday. Coaches from Arkansas, Arizona, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Iowa State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Texas and Texas Tech were among those spotted scouting the talent on hand at Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas.

SEC schools are barnstorming through Texas this satellite camp season and Arkansas is no different, showing a strong presence at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp in the Houston area on Tuesday. Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema (pictured, far right) led a six-coach contingent from Fayetteville to Houston to scout the talent, including coordinators Dan Enos and Robb Smith as well as secondary coach Paul Rhoads (pictured, left) and linebackers coach Vernon Hargreaves (middle).
