Two-Star Tuesday: Pittburgh's Ejuan Price

Pittsburgh's senior defensive end endured much in the seasons leading up to his five-sack masterpiece against Louisville last Saturday. 'Giant-man's game'

David M. Hale ESPN Staff Writer

Pitt is 8-3 with all three losses to teams ranked in the CFP top 14, but it's not enough to push the Panthers into this week's rankings. Several 3-loss teams, including Mississippi State, Washington St and UCLA, make the top 25 though.

Swofford on scheduling in playoff era

"I think everyone is still figuring this out," confesses ACC commissioner John Swofford. "There's probably a formula to it, there will be a formula to it, but it will take some time to figure out what that is. And it won't be the same for everyone." McGee: Flipping the Field

Jared Shanker ESPN Staff Writer

The Panthers' offense was lights out early then stalled in the second half. When Pitt needed a drive to ice the game, however, it came up with one. Pitt has a chance at 10 wins, something it's only done once since 1982, after holding on to beat Louisville 45-34. The Cardinals not only had their four-game winning streak snapped, they might not have a starting quarterback again. Kyle Bolin was pulled for Lamar Jackson.
