ESPN 25 Power Rankings: Week: 2

Week:

After games of Dec. 2

Last week's Chicago Elite Classic and Marshall County Hoop Fest each featured a multitude of Top 25 squads in action, leading to some tweaks to the Week 2 rankings. Chicago powerhouses Whitney Young and Simeon both represented for Illinois at the Elite Classic, posting wins over DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) and Milton (Ga.), respectively. Whitney Young's rout knocked DeMatha to No. 20 and put top-ranked Simeon on notice that there's going to be some competition for the top spot in the Chi.

ESPN 100 talents Andrew Wiggins and Andrew Harrison put on a pair of noteworthy performances at the Hoop Fest, keeping their squads undefeated and in the top 10.

The lone change to this week's top 10: Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) and Southwind (Memphis, Tenn.) swapped spots after Southwind fell to Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.). Dropping out of the rankings: Indianapolis Cathedral, which was replaced by Ridgeway (Memphis, Tenn.), a 2-0 squad that has an experienced and talented roster.

Now that the season is under way in most states, we're asking you to hit us up with feedback on the weekly rankings in the comments below or on Twitter using #ESPN25hoops.

Note: This poll is compiled weekly by the RecruitingNation staff. All high school teams are eligible to be ranked as long as their roster does not include any fifth-year seniors.
