espnW 25 Power Rankings: Week 13

Year:
Week:

A week ago there were two undefeated teams in the top 10 of the espnW 25 Power Rankings. This week there are none.

No. 3 Duncanville (35-1), which took a 105-game winning streak into the state finals, suffered a 58-53 loss to Manvel, which moves up to No. 6. Notre Dame recruit Brianna Turner stepped up with 17 points and 17 rebounds in the win.

No. 19 New Hope Christian (30-1) can match Duncanville in the heartache department. With the ball and leading by two in the final seconds of the National Association of Christian Athletes title game, Riverdale Baptist's Chloe Jackson stole the ball and made a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

And don't be surprised if the drama comes in waves. This weekend features a California showdown between No. 1 Mater Dei and No. 5 Windward in the Southern Section Open Division playoffs. Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Louisiana and Georgia will award state titles this weekend.
