Welcome to No. 1, Incarnate Word Academy, now hold on tight.

The Red Knights, who won three straight games at the Naples Holiday Shootout in Florida to improve to 11-0, take over the top spot in the espnW 25 Power Rankings for Week 5. A balanced attack from junior Napheesa Collier, Iowa State-bound point guard Nakiah Bell and Kansas State signee McKenna Treece has been spelling trouble for opponents

But don't look now, because here comes No. 7 Regis Jesuit (Colo.), a team that has suffered just one loss on the season, a 50-48 setback to No. 4 Long Beach Poly at the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Mater Dei, which was ranked No. 1 a week ago after winning the Nike Tournament of Champions last month, slips to No. 3 after suffering its first loss of the season, to No. 10 St. Mary's (Berkeley), a team the Monarchs defeated at the Nike TOC.
