TEMPE, Ariz. -- Designated hitter Chris Epps is Clemson's MVP through six and a half innings, no doubt about that.

Epps' 2-run single in the sixth tied the super regional with Arizona State 4-4. It was his third RBI of the game.

While Sun Devils starter Mike Leake hasn't pitched badly, he's now given up three earned runs for just the third time this season. He hasn't given up any more than that, by the way.

He entered the game with a 1.23 ERA.
