Cal State Fullerton-Virginia starting lineups

June, 15, 2009
The rain has held off -- so far -- which means Omaha might finally get a look at Daniel Renken this afternoon. Renken, Cal State Fullerton's ace, was held in Saturday's College World Series opener in favor of freshman Noe Ramirez. The Titans lost that game 10-6 to Arkansas, setting up today's elimination game against Virginia (ESPN2/ESPN360, 2 p.m. ET).

Renken has held opposing batters to a .202 average this season and has had a 1.59 ERA in the NCAA tournament. The second-seeded Titans are trying to avoid a repeat of 2007, when they went two-and-out at the CWS.
