Titans move within one in third inning, 4-3

Andrew Carraway could be entering the game shortly. After Virginia starter Robert Morey gave up his second home run of the game in the top of the third inning, Carraway was warming up in the bullpen.

That homer belonged to Cal State Fullerton's Christian Colon, who sent the ball way out to the left to earn his first home run of the College World Series and put the Titans within one, 4-3.

Gary Brown followed with a single up the middle to get on first, then moved to third on Josh Fellhauer's single to put Virginia in position to tie things up. But after Jared Clark and Khris Davis popped out, Fellhauer got caught in a pick between first and second and was tagged for the third out.

The Titans brought back the counting game in the bottom of the third, getting out of the inning with another 1-2-3 showing.
