OMAHA, Neb. -- Monday afternoon's elimination game won't be between unfamiliar opponents. That goes for the fans, too.

Sunshine State rivals Florida and Florida State will meet for a chance to send the other home in the second game of Monday's triple-header (ESPN2, 4:30 p.m. ET).

The teams have more than a distant history, meeting four times already in 2010.

"We have an idea what to expect," said Florida centerfielder Matt den Dekker. "We're going to come ready to play, come out with some intensity, get ready to go."

Florida, the No. 3 national seed, has lost three of the four meetings to the Seminoles. The Gators' only win came at home in Gainesville on March 16, when they won 8-5.

Monday's game will be the fifth location for the fifth game. Florida State won the other three meetings in Tampa, Jacksonville and Tallahassee.

An 11-3 loss to UCLA landed the Gators in the losing bracket, while Florida State was shut down by TCU starter Matt Purke in an opening game loss 8-1.

Freshman Hudson Randall (8-3, 2.95 ERA) is scheduled to start for Florida (47-16), while the Seminoles (47-19) will put sophomore Brian Busch (5-2, 3.97 ERA) on the mound.
