Derrick Henry passes Ken Hall

Yulee (Fla.) High School four-star running back Derrick Henry broke the national career-rushing yards record during a 41-26 playoff victory against Perry (Fla.) Taylor County on Friday night.

Henry, a 6-foot-3, 238-pound Alabama commit, surpassed Ken Hall's previous record of 11,232 yards on a 52-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Hall, who held the record for nearly 60 years, played at Sugar Land (Texas) High School from 1950-53.
