K.J. Lawson commits to Memphis
K.J. Lawson, the No. 21 junior in the ESPN 60, committed to the hometown Memphis Tigers on Monday.
Lawson (Memphis/Hamilton) helps coach Josh Pastner continue a trend of successful local recruiting. Pastner has been aggressive in recruiting in-state talent for years, which paid off last year when he landed the nation's No. 3 recruiting class thanks in large part to a trio of Tennessee products -- Austin Nichols, Nick King and Markel Crawford.
And more could be on the way.
