The first weekend back from the recruiting dead period saw dozens of prospects taking official visits to Pac-12 campuses. While programs such as Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Washington and Washington State all put together solid weekends, no program's recruits (and parents) were better about documenting the events than Stanford's, where Big Visit Weekend seemed to go over extremely well with everybody in attendance.

Recruiting junior college talent can be a constant gamble of possibly adding a fully developed body, ready to provide immediate help and cover any depth concerns, and the possibility of missing entirely on getting the recruit admitted academically or getting a prospect with a limited window of opportunity who still isn't ready to contribute.

Arkansas commit Hatcher helps end streak Tulsa (Okla.) Union saw two streaks come to an end Friday, courtesy of four-star receiver Keon Hatcher and Owasso (Okla.). Hatcher, who has committed to Arkansas, caught 12 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns -- including a game-winning, 5-yard catch with 10 seconds remaining -- to help Owasso beat Union, 41-38, in come-from-behind fashion.
