The Steelers selected the former Florida running back in the fifth round (159th overall pick) of the NFL draft on Saturday, and coach Mike Tomlin is already thinking about the different ways he can use Rainey on offense and special teams.

Earlier this week Fairfield head coach Sydney Johnson recieved a verbal commitment from Bronx, N.Y. guard Justin Jenkins (Wings Academy), according to the New York Post. Jenkins chose the Stags over Siena and Florida Atlantic.
Fairfield landed a verbal commitment from center Josip Mikulic (Coconut Creek, Fla.) over the weekend, ESPN.com's Adam Finkelstein confirmed. Mikulic is a one-time N.C. State Wolfpack recruit who re-opened his recruitment in April.
