It's playoff time for the majority of teams in the ESPN 25 Power Rankings, and a few of those squads are getting stronger in time for the postseason.
One of those teams is No. 17 Mission Viejo (Calif.), which finished the regular season undefeated after cruising past previously undefeated El Toro (Lake Forest, Calif.) 49-7. The Diablos, who are led by ESPN 150 athlete and recent USC decommit Max Redfield, jump up five spots in the rankings as a result of the dominating win.
Meanwhile, No. 1 Manatee (Bradenton, Fla.) upended Sarasota (Fla.) 51-9 to clinch a district title. The Hurricanes wrap up regular-season play next Friday.
